Detailed itinerary:
Yunmeng Primitive Forest Park is Located in Huairou district, which is about 80 kilometers from downtown Beijing. It covers a large area of primitive second growth. It is cool in summer. It is a great summer retreat for people from downtown Beijing. This forest park is abundant with water. There are waterfalls and streams in the canyon. The Forest here is dominated by various trees, and the ground is dotted with wild flowers.

One valley here is well-known for Guiguzi, who was believe to be an immortal and live for hundreds of years in the human realm, gathered hundred immortals here to keep the country in harmony. It is said that he wrote the Inner Canon jointly with the Yellow Emperor, picked up medical herbs with Mozi, discussed yin-yang with Laozi, and deduced the Book of Changes with Confucius.

Bad weather plan:
We will email you 2-3 days before the hike to let you know about the weather condition. If there is thunder storm, heavy rain or strong wind we will cancel the hike or change the dates.
