Highlights of this hike:
1. Explore a long valley surrounded by mountains. We will walk along a big stream in the valley all the way. The rhythm of running water gives such a s sense of freedom and tranquility;

Price and discount:
The cost is 400rmb per person. It includes transportation, entrance fees, water, lunch and guides. We give 10% discount for students, members and kids under 12’s.
Detailed itinerary:
The long valley is Located in Huairou district, which is about 70 kilometers from downtown Beijing. There is a big stream abundant with water in the valley. The Forest here is dominated by various trees.
We will walk along this stream with singing of running water all the way. Along the way you will see special-shaped rocks, waterfalls, temples and interesting stone carvings related with Buddhism, Chinese Traditional Culture and Chinese legends.
A Few Interesting Spots:
The Heavenly Ladder: Looking back from the Heavenly Ladder, you may see the winding path among green mountains. While looking forward, you may expect more wonderful sights.
The Rain-Praying Temple: It stands on a huge rock, where people used to pray for rain. Today people living nearby come to burn incenses and offer sacrifices. Your wish may come true if you pray wholeheartedly.
The Plunging Waterfall: The one-hundred-chi-high waterfall has two parts. A spring gallops from steep peaks and heavily falls upon huge granite, splashing on rocks. It presents impressive scenery.
The Divine Pool: The pool is about several meters deep. The waterfall rushes down here, and stream flows from it. It is said that a tortoise lives in its bottom to manage the climate. In ancient times, people come here to pray for rain and got their wishes come true. So it’s called the “Divine Pool”.
Bad weather plan:
We will email you 2-3 days before the hike to let you know about the weather condition. If there is thunder storm, heavy rain or strong wind we will cancel the hike or change the dates.
